About the Book
The name of the book in Spanish is: “Cartas sin recibir y otras historias de camino”. Translated in English should be something like: “Unreceived letters and picked up gossip along the way”. A part of this book is about letters that were written to different people about certain situations in my life since I was 18 years old, but never got sent due to mixed feelings, complexity of situations or just used for venting purposes. These are letters about love (family and relationships), betrayal, thoughts about family and friends deaths, frustrations, distance, hope, spiritualism, faith and the meaning of life itself. The other part of the book is about different stories created by me, inspired by life experiences and some others by songs. If the story or thought was inspired by a song, the name of the song and its singer were mentioned at the bottom of the letter. The intention of the book is not to be poetic necessarily, but to be descriptive in a different way. No poetic rules were utilized intentionally. In conclusion, my intention to publish this book was to inspire others and to keep a promise to my mom (Sandra E. Mac Lean). Jean Pierre Arroyo Mac Lean
