About the Book

Curlicues is about life, ”what goes around comes around” and “what you sow, you reap.” A book for every person who has loved and lost and answers the Spiritual whys. This romantic, steamy story takes place during the Korea War in Occupied Japan. It centers around the beautiful Japanese girl who becomes a woman filled with Spirituality rarely observed in post war Japan or anywhere. With the help of her Angels, Tureko goes from a simple farm worker to a sophisticated woman of the world.. This is a story of Americans , mostly Military coming to the land of the rising sun adapting to the differences of cultures.

About the Author

Margie Mathews was born during the depression on a farm in mid western Ohio. She trained ponies and horses as a teenager along with being a 4H member. She communicates with animals. Having always wanted to be a nurse, she worked in related medical fields in hospitals, clinics and recruiting offices, civilian and military. Two grown adult children and four grandsons complete her family, she is divorced enjoys two toy poodles. She has a Doctor of Divinity Degree, retired in 1998, she writes, councils and loves life. Hobbies include swimming, reading, writing, traveling, sewing and playing euchre.
