About the Book

In this story, Kid Blitz is living in Kenya with his naval officer father and beautiful mother. Their village is attacked while Kid’s parents are away and Kid Blitz must rely on his new, secret ally, Grant, the Giant Ant, to help him save the villagers from their deadly enemies.

In actuality, Kid Blitz is the author’s father. He earned his nickname in Brooklyn, NY during the depression. He enlisted in the Navy following high school, where his assignment was to Africa. Four generations of children, nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren have listened in fascination to his tale of the Giant Ant, who saved his life when he was lost in the jungle.
