About the Author

Blake Robinson is a poet and translator whose work has appeared in The Nation, Chelsea, and Exquisite Corpse. Carcanet Press brought out his Remember Me, God of Love, an anthology of Italian poet Sandro Penna’s poetry and prose. His translation of French painter-writer Eugène Fromentin's Between Sea and Sahara, a work about Algeria written as it was being colonized, was published by Ohio University Press.
