About the Author
[author bio…] Being compared to Dr. Seuss’ rhyming style of writing is as much a compliment as it may be a joke amongst her friends. Seuss wrote about fantasy and could make nonsense worlds seem magically real. Melissa Israel writes about her world in all of its reality. Losing a loved one, battling disease, overcoming a challenge or simply dancing in the joys that life offers is an easy platform from which she writes. Her hope is that her stories might ignite stronger understanding and deeper compassion for the world we live in. [Illustrator Bio…] When she is not excelling in her studies at school, you might find her gliding across the ice at her figure skating practices. She enjoys school, family and friends and sharing her artistic talents with others!
