About the Book

Ruby Hovda's first book, The Covering of Feathers, is her family's lifestory of God’s faithfulness, mercy and goodness. Her book, Feathers, Faithfulness and Friends, is a sequel of sorts, continuing her feather story, as well as including "God Stories" from many of her friends. Remember, God is supreme, He is in control and He cares even about the little things.

About the Author

Ruby Hovda married her college sweetheart in 1965. Gary and Ruby Hovda had 45 ½ happy years together, serving the LORD in various ways. When cancer claimed Gary’s life, Ruby sold their house and moved to be the grandma that her son’s family needed. She has taught school for thirty years, has lived in four states, and has two children and five grandchildren. She loves to spend time with her family, read, play Rook, and do jigsaw puzzles and Sudoku. The Covering of Feathers is her first book.
