About the Book

“One Life…And Then Some, 1 – The Sowing” is the first installment of what this 67-year old author hopes to produce by way of memoir of growing up the son of two Irish Protestant immigrants in a largely Irish Catholic New England town.  Here, Gordon Graham was rooted and nourished in a rich milieu of other children of immigrants, in Clinton, Massachusetts, noted, in the 1940s and 1950s, for producing more than its share of political and cultural leaders locally, statewide and nationally.  Going forth from in Clinton in 1951, Graham entered Harvard, the Army Counter Intelligence, Washington D.C. politics, law school, criminal and environmental law, and finally, after a unique spiritual journey, completed seminary training at Episcopal Divinity School, graduating at age 63 and is now an Anglican priest in his father’s native Ulster
