About the Book

Keith’s life-long ambition was music until he fell in love with a deaf girl. He refused to forsake her devotion for the applause of strangers, but when stranded far from home at Christmas, the voice and wiles of a young soprano rekindled musical dreams and set his world asunder.

About the Author

Young and somewhat stage-struck, I abandoned a short teaching career to distribute motion pictures across Texas. Film cans cannot compete with the lure of a sound stage and it was ‘Goodbye Dallas, Hello Hollywood. My minor roles in films and commercials are best forgotten. Fascinated with a creative industry that can bring a scriptwriter’s imagination to life, I began working behind the cameras. My varied assignments included film technician, casting, research and assisting writers. Using glass eyes, false fingernails and undefined trash or treasures, I’ve even created monsters for horror films. Filming on location led me to far away places and awakened a love of travel that has brought me to seventeen countries on five continents. I’ve covered nearly as many miles exploring the highways and byways of America. I left the studio to pursue a writing career but continue to serve as a docent at the Warner Museum.
