About the Author
Jim Spina has been an educator all his adult life. He currently lecturers at the R.H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. His avocations of historian, antique toy dealer and writer led to this first novel. It was a labor of love, first started in 1983. He previously published a reference book on early American toys entitled Thirty Pieces of Tin. The book, which describes a fantastic discovery of a hoard of rare toys, received wide recognition from toy collectors. He resides with his wife Lori in Annapolis, Maryland.
