About the Author

Leon B. Nealy is a Michigan resident. This is his amazing true story in his fight with esophageal cancer and winning that battle! Before the cancer incident, he was very active in his community. He loves to cook and has cooked for parties and other people on the side as he is doing now once again. He loves to create things on his computer and loves music and often has done Karaoke at his parties. He just lived to celebrate his 60th birthday with his family and many friends and looks forward to more birthdays yet to come. The picture on the top left was taken last year on his birthday after his long stay in the hospital following his cancer surgery. The bottom left picture is before his cancer episode. As you can see, he had lost much weight and became much smaller. He has gained back some of it now but doesn’t want to gain much more because he likes the new slimmer look. Even though he is smaller on the outside, he has a large heart on the inside. He just recently organized a group effort to give away 5 Christmas food baskets to needy families.
