Charles K Carpenter has written several novels over the past ten years, producing such Comic Crime novels as Turntail Woodpecker and The Gol Medallion. From the darker side of life, he has given us three Police Crime novels: The Road Stalkes, The Scribe, and The Red Convertible. Charles lives with his wife and family in the rural West, where trucks and trains rule the roads and rails, and many a person can still be seen on horseback.
