About the Author

Billy Wiseman was born in South Carolina, and raised on a small farm near Rimini. After high school he enlisted in the Marines and spent a tour of duty as a rifleman with the First Marine Division in Vietnam. Returning home, he attended the University of South Carolina and began a career with several national newspapers that was to last almost twenty-five years. He began to write his personal work full time in 1997, and is a frequent contributor to local and regional newspapers and magazines. He lives quietly along the shore of his beloved Lake Marion, and is currently working on his first novel, which is due to be published early in 2006.
