About the Author

Carol Miller’s lively and evocative prose describes rich and rewarding travel, to places few people go. The restless and inquisitive Miller is a native Californian, long-time resident of Mexico, an experienced journalist and a dedicated photographer. She was a correspondent for Life Magazine. She was a syndicated travel writer. And she is also a celebrated artist, reknowned for her bronze sculpture. To read her books is to share her adventures, observations and multiple interests, in art, architecture, history and archaeology, along with her love of nature and animals, her keen observations and her undaunted joy in living.
