About the Book

The aim of this book is to create awareness amongst the Muslims that what they believe to be the Truth is not the whole Truth. The Creed of Islam is: “La ilah il Allah Muhammedun Rasulu Allah” meaning, there is no god but Allah (God) and Mohammed is his Messenger. The creed in Arabic is called ‘Kalima’. It is easy to become a Muslim just by reciting the Kalima but once you become a Muslim, you cannot renounce Islam. Any Muslim may kill you for apostasy and get his reward from Allah on the Day of Resurrection as laid down in Hadith No.9: 64.

God never chose Mohammed to be his Messenger. If we study the Scriptures, we see that God spoke directly to the person He chose as His Messenger. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, etc. are examples. God never spoke to Mohammed. There are two books of Islamic laws – the Hadith and the Quran. A Hadith is an account passed on by word of mouth from person to person of what the Prophet did, said, approved, ordered or was forbidden by him. A number of scholars collected these Hadiths (traditions) and put them in book form after selecting those found reliable. The Hadiths selected by Imam Bukhari and called Sahih Al-Bukhari, are considered to be most authentic. These were collected 200 years after the death of the Prophet. The Quran is the book believed to contain revelations from Allah to Mohammed His Messenger. The present Quran was compiled at one place years after the death of the Prophet.

The start of the revelations to Mohammed as reported in Hadith No.3, Volume 1 of Sahih Al-Bukhari begins with lies. This Hadith has been ascribed to Hazrat Ayesha the youngest wife of the Prophet. She was not even born when the so-called revelations started. She was born 9 years after the event. It is recorded that an angel appeared to Mohammed in a cave when he was 40 years of age and asked him to read. Mohammed replied that he did not know to read. Thereupon the angel caught him in a hold and pressed him so hard that it became unbearable. After releasing Mohammed, the angel again asked him to read and Mohammed again gave the same reply. This happened three times. Finally Mohammed recited the words of the revelations after the angel. Mohammed knew reading and writing as indicated in Sura 98: 2-3 and Hadith No.4: 393 but he told a lie to the angel. When Khadijah the Jewish wife of Mohammed took him to her uncle Waraqa bin Naufal, he asked Mohammed what he had seen? After hearing the story Waraqa remarked that it was the same angel who appeared to Moses. This was another lie because no angel ever appeared to Moses. God used to speak directly to Moses as recorded in the Scriptures and the Quran (Sura 4:164). Mohammed even ordered murder of individuals by telling lies to deceive the victim (Hadith No.5: 369).

His peaceful preaching to the pagans that Allah was one and he was his Messenger failed because he could show no miracles from Allah. The pagans forced him to leave Mecca for preaching against their religion. Thereafter Mohammed took to preaching with sword with the help of a few close friends. They started attacking caravans and plundering them. The men were killed and women and children taken as slaves. The booty was distributed amongst the fighters. The lure of booty attracted many people to fight for Mohammed. With increase in his followers Mohammed started attacking cities. The modus operandi was that before the attack the people were asked to embrace Islam the religion preached by Mohammed. If they accepted, no harm was done to them. If they refused, their men were killed and women and children taken as slaves. The property and women and children were distributed amongst the Muslims. This is how Islam spread with the power of the sword. In addition to the worldly benefits in the shape of war booty, there were big rewards for the Believers in the hereafter. All the things the people craved for on earth, like b
