About the Book

What is the difference between a fairy tale and a war story? A fairy tale starts off, "Once upon a time." A war story starts off, "This ain't no bulls-t," thus the title. This book is a collection of war stories about the author's life, from growing up with a hated nickname, through his military career, the trials of his children, hunting and fishing, and the mostly funny escapades of his wives, present and past. Humor is an essential part of life, and "This Ain't No Bull" captures the most humorous episodes of a life lived to the fullest. It was a wild ride. Hopefully you will find the stories as rewarding to read as Dick did living them.

About the Author

Dick Moore spent 29 years in the Air Force with assignments in four foreign countries. Dick went from cadet to colonel in that time. He was a commander, an operations officer, an intelligence officer, and a staff officer, all of which are pretty boring. However some interesting and some funny things happened along the way. Stories about service life are known as war stories, which are not to be confused with fairy tales.
