About the Book

Why are some people more creative than others? Since we all have the same basic equipment in our heads, perhaps we have not learned how to recognize and use it. High-yield Scepticism is the result of over 30 years of intensely personal research, presenting an open-minded exploration of rationality, intuition, and instinct as they aid or block intelligent problem solving. It also explains why “True Believers” will not find the truth while “Hostile Sceptics” block the mindset that decodes the double entendres that lie at the root of the debate between religion and science.

About the Author

Louise Z. Reiss M.D. was educated at Skidmore College, the University of Pennsylvania and Woman’s Medical College. As an early member of the Committee for Nuclear Information in St.Louis, MO, she organized the Baby Tooth Survey, which demonstrated the presence of nuclear fallout in children and contributed to the ban on above-ground nuclear testing in 1962. In 1967, Dr. Reiss began her research into the creative process— a project that continues to the present day.
