About the Author

Jennifer Salinas has been writing poetry since 1998. Poetry started off as a way of expressing her thoughts but transitioned into expressing her feelings as well. “It may very well not be her own, but somehow channeling the expressions of others.” When it comes to poetry, her world consists of many "worlds.” As the years have gone by, many would come to endure such poetry, leading them to confide in her work as their own. Her poetry is a way of escaping the world around her. Poetry has given her a sense of freedom, an escape route to love, lost, life itself.
