About the Author

Laketta Johnson was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin August 1969 to Barbara and George Johnson. She later moved with them and her four brothers to Mississippi when she was about 12 or 13 years of age. Laketta has always had an inspiration for writing but never pursued it until her late 20’s. This is her first book of poetry she has completed with the Help and support of her family and she wants it to be a blessing to who all may read.
