About the Book
Is a inspiring production about three young ladies (Cynthia, Cassandra, Diane) who are moved by the pastors message so much till they want to do something about it. They choose to go out and witness (bring souls to Christ). Cynthia (the pastor’s daughter and ring leader) comes upon a street “The Post” that she feels is a great spot for witnessing. Cassandra (who know the street well) informs her that this particular corner belongs to a gang. Not just any gang but the most dangerous gang. Cynthia vows to stay anyway and the girls go along with her and they encounter drug dealers, prostitutes and bring them to Christ. Meanwhile the gang (who knows nothing about the girls) notice there earnings drop and a different set of people around. Finally the two groups meet and let the play began. Can I Get A Witness is an uplifting production that will get your congregation Out Of It’s Seat and into the Streets!
About the Author
As a youth, I found out right away the creative flair that burned within. Being the middle child, (1 older brother, 1 older sister 2 younger sisters) made it very difficult to have my own identity. In high school I would write little stories just to satisfy my urge to write. Attending Columbia College, I quickly found out the dedication and consistence of a good writer. Some days it just wasn’t happening. The biggest surprise is the convenience of writing in my spare time. As I got older I’d try to give myself a schedule and keep it just for writing. Married with three children, finding the time on a consistent basis get’s more and more difficult. Being the son of a minister, writing about the church is sort of a confort zone for me. There’s a certain rhythm the church has that’s unique. Thoughout my writing career there has been many accomplishments. Modeling, acting, directing, photography and graphic design. I’ve faired very well in all of them but writing seems to stand out. I hope to one day with God’s help accomplish my goals on a higher level and handle it with dignity and grace. I reside in Arlington Heights with my wife, Martha Hoosier and Children Nora, Cherita and Ciera.
