You Are A Miracle – Poetry for Christians in Recovery. 12-Step programs have given millions of people around the world a new lease on life. My poetry of recovery tells what it was like, what happened and what it’s like today for me. If you are in recovery I am sure that you will find a lot here to relate with and perhaps even some hope for your own recovery. Also found here is poetry that proclaims the glory of God. It is my belief that He led me into recovery so that the people of A.A. and N.A. could lead me back to Him. In the program I have gained the appreciation of what God has given us. The rest delves into what I have received because of my own recovery. A Higher Power, who I choose to call God through the person of Jesus Christ, Spirituality, Family, Nature, and People.

About the Author

Herb Dunn, Author of the book “Soul Reflection” – Poetry of Recovery and More, and “You Are A Miracle” – Poetry for Christians in Recovery, in this collection, has turned his attentions to nature, and Yosemite in specific. Authored several newsletters. Some of his poetry has been published in the Anthologies “Homecomings” and “The Silence Within” as well as poetry and photography in Literary Magazines. He has been nominated “Poet Of The Year”, three consecutive years by the International Poets Society. He loves hiking and backpacking in the Sierra Nevada’s, Yosemite National Park, and camping under the Giant Redwood Sequoias.
