About the Author
Denise L. Gordon, aspiring author is scheduled to release an upcoming book titled ‘Brandon Dreams the World Through the Internet’ this fall. The children’s book is about a little boy who falls asleep at his PC and is sucked into the life of it by hopping from country to country. Denise is the proud parent of a son named Brandon Gordon, who was one of the illustrators of that book, and a graduate of the Baltimore School for the Arts. This is her second book. The first book entitled Thanksgiving New York Style was published in 2002 by Dorrance Publishing Company. At age thirteen, she began writing in a diary and continues to journal daily. This is what disciplines her writing skills. During her childhood, she wrote letters to the editor of magazines, poetry and short stories. She is an alumnus of Morgan State University. She is also a member of Beyond the Pages Book Club and the Baltimore Screenwriters Coffee Club. Denise’s passion is community service, bible study and the ability to help others who are in need. Her hobbies include traveling, avid reading, tennis, watching football games, reading book reviews and periodicals and developing ways to improve our lives in a green environment. In the fall of 2008, she plans to return to school to acquire her English Degree.
