About the Book

When you throw out a challenge to the universe, it has a tendency to answer. Sometimes it’s a subtle answer, other times it’s like a sledgehammer hitting an egg. On the rare occasion that the universe is in a good mood, it sends you on a roller coaster ride as a DJ on a cruise ship with no experience or music to play.

It lets you fall head over heels in love with a virgin while the rest of the world is having an orgy.

Somewhere around this point you condemn God and the real fun begins.

Whatever.

About the Author

Matt Lehman has very little business writing a book, let alone four. He dropped out of college, can barely hold down a job, drinks alcohol, hasn’t been in a church for about a million years, and only showers about 3 times a week. “Whatever.” Started with a single word – “Why?” This single seed grew in his head to “Why did this happen to me?” A seemingly simple rhetorical question that he never really expected the answer to, but still it nagged him and eventually blossomed into “How did I get here?” None of these questions consumed his life. They just popped up occasionally during mundane moments of his life like cooking dinner for one. One particularly boring evening while deeply engrossed in said activity, an answer started to form. Mr. Lehman ran to his computer and started typing. Thirty minutes later, in a smoke filled apartment with a smoke detector screaming at him, he had written what would be the first 10 pages of his first book – “Whatever.” He finished that book and shelved it. Opting to write and publish another book. Then he wrote another and another. Then he let some people read and edit his work, giving him the courage to self-publish the first book. (Don’t worry it’s professionally edited.) And they say smoking is bad for you. Speaking in third person is bad for you.
