About the Book

Could they be right? Is Declan McAllister really losing it? Once considered a top-notch homicide cop, his friends are wondering what can jolt him out of his rut and catapult him back into the game. He’s about to walk away from it all when he’s assigned to investigate a suspicious accident that has cost two children their lives. Have the quiet, small-town streets of Dry River, New Mexico, become host to a serial killer stalking the community’s children? Join Detective Sergeant Dek McAllister as he searches the cities, mountains, and deserts of the modern Southwest in his quest for the truth.

About the Author

After years of writing for numerous publications, Lynn Grippo was inspired to author The Fourth Wind. Originally a native of the Big Apple, she has resided in the Southwest for the past decade. It was there that she developed a deep respect for the region’s cultures, both modern and ancient. Hence she has created a story that weaves together the elements of thriller/police proced-ural with absorbing characterization, against a backdrop of harsh desert terrain. Currently, Grippo lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with David, the youngest of her three sons, where they ride roughshod over several cantankerous cats.
