About the Book

Edgy essays from around the world, across the disciplines, and through the years. The title and theme are from Andrew Marvel’s poem, “To His Coy Mistress.” They show to some degree where I was, how I got to where I am now, my evolving thinking along the way, why my mind changed, and how my world expanded.

About the Author

Thomas Richard Sluberski, an international educator currently deployed in Brazil, holds and earned doctorate from the University of Heidelberg in Germany, a Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, and a Master of Arts in English from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He also studied at the University of Vienna in Austria, Western Reserve University, the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany, and New York University.
