About the Author

As an elementary school teacher and resource specialist, Mary Ajamian eagerly shared her love of books with her students. She used the engaging stories she found in picture books to draw them enthusiastically into all areas of learning. She also developed a cross-aged tutoring program in which older students used these books to enhance their own reading power while teaching younger children to read with confidence and delight. Recently, she has discovered a new passion: writing picture books for children.
