The snow falls ever so softly and silently as I walk through the field where only stones are planted. I hear only the crunch of snow under my boot as I approach the familiar words. A single teardrop eases from my eye as I reach down to place a half frozen chrysanthemum atop the stone which holds them.

About the Author
What qualifies anyone write down their thoughts and thoughts but the need to share or even to release feelings which will not free them by any other means. I have written the lines in this book because I had a pain and anguish from the loss of my mother and a love I could not let go. Born and raised mostly in the south, I traveled round the country through many experiences, I settled back down in the south again and after getting the thoughts and feelings here within these pages along with love and friendship of a good woman I have a semblance of peace.
