About the Book

Meet Max is a chronicle of one dog’s daily doings, a diary of the joy and companionship an older pet can give. It is also a “thank you” to the Robert Potter League for Animals and caring shelters everywhere who give animals and the people who adopt them a chance to experience the unconditional love a pet can give.

About the Author

Cindy Killavey is a professional actress, storyteller and audio book reader. She is the editor/author of “The Stories We Tell” a book of poems, tall tales and stories by Rhode Island storytellers. She is also contributing author to “Telling stories to children” published by the International Storytelling Center. She writes articles for storytelling organization newsletters and talks to animals no matter where they meet or what type they are. She hopes that this book will encourage you to consider adopting from your local animal shelter when looking for a furry friend.
