About the Book

Janette Christopher has two young girls to raise; her daughter and niece. She can have any man she wants, but she is not looking for a relationship. Her first marriage ended tragically and left her broken hearted and broken financially. She hadn’t thought about marriage in years. She changes her mind when she gets rescued repeatedly by the same policeman. Officer Eddie LeBeau is a stickler for the law. He is a very responsible and caring man. He is at a point in his life where he wants happiness aside from his family’s happiness. He wants to settle down and get married and have his own family. And when he comes across Janette, it is love at first sight for him. Janettes’s dead husband’s cousin has secretly loved her for years. He tries a lot of underhanded schemes to try and break up Janette and Eddie. Also, Eddie’s younger sister has issues with him marrying Janette. These two people cause a strain on their relationship and test their love.

About the Author

Love’s Power Keyanna fell in love with her best friend in high school, but he didn’t return her feelings. He learned something about her and he wasn’t comfortable with it so he disappeared from her life leaving her heartbroken. Wilson had it hard growing up because of his family’s situation. The only good thing in his life was his high school friend. Circumstances caused him to end their friendship. Years later he realizes he needs that friendship and her in his life again more than anything.
