About the Book

I remember beginning writing by doing so in circles. I graduated Our lady of Vilna grade school in what was then known as "Little Italy". Graduated Maria High School only because the Sisters of St. Casimir taught at both schools and my parents thought that was the thing to do back then. I took a few Junior College courses: macrame, painting, fun things like that. I did graduate Players workshop of Second City and can tell you that in one week of class you could fill an entire psychology course! It was fun and I did a bit of stage work. Currently, I have completed "Iraq, Rattle and Roll" a rhyming playlette about the war with hopes of seeing it produced in Chicago. I am also working on "Joes Place", another rhyming playlette taking place at a bar in Chi-town along with colorful characters. Also, a children's novel, "Josie and the Magic Dragon" is not complete, and no, it doesn't rhyme. "Haunting at Willow Crossing" is a work of fiction. There really is a restaurant in Willow Springs, Illinois that serves the best burgers and that's where the reality ends. This writer needs to be more disciplined, for sure! My friend, Vito Carli and I have stated "Bubble Wrap Bride" in Chicago - lots of fun! Perhaps we will perform it in the near future again. I do hope you all enjoy my first attempt at published poetry and bid you all many blessings.
