About the Author

I grew up in Adrian, Michigan. I was raised in church, and read and wrote poems from the time I was a little girl on. It has been a passion to me throughout my life. I have lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Topeka, Kansas, Tampa, Florida, Kalamazoo, Michigan, Sherman Oaks, California, and in Phoenix and Tempe, Arizona. I was a Certified Medical Assistant, Nurses Assistant, and an EMT. I loved working in medicine. It was also a passion in my life, and I loved my patients. But creating poetry, and reading another’s gift of writing always touched me deeply. It has been my privilege to confess that God writes the poems on my heart, and I am only the hand that moves the pen. I began writing more seriously in latter years. The Lord blessed me with something I loved to do, to be used in His service. But were it not for Him giving me every word and line, I could not write as I do today. To God be the eternal glory! It is my fervent prayer that each one who reads these words will be richly blessed by what they say. And I pray He will bless me with many more until His glorious coming becomes a reality.
