About the Book

In Amy Brooks a sudden adventure begins after the discovery of the tomb to Lord Ry Dark the infamous dark user of the 1700s. The light cousin Kerese is a sensitive to dark magic as well as Amy fifteen years old and Tess seventeen years old. The group of friends in the beginning is Amy, Rayne her older seventeen year old sister, Mike selfish and short tempered very resentful, sixteen. Danny fifteen and Amy's love interest, Tess his sister, Kerese and Adarla also seventeen. When Ry the dark user gets free that night he begins evil once more but Fay the former priestess who stopped him also comes back to help after he banishes all of the citizens of Fayet, Faith, Amy's home town. The adventure later continues with a cross country run across Bellevele where Amy meets new people as well as her family, friends and even new allies to help her get home and stop Ry from taking Faith for good. Lou Bennett Perez a Faithian citizen is recovered at a car shop where he replaces Mike, who suddenly leaves for a little. Also, Ike a high school senior who's just normal but leaves with the team when all goes bad. Progressively Amy learns her new powers with the golden leaf, Princess Fay’s weapon but necklace when she ruled Faith at the age of 16. She also learns of the damage and affects dark magic could do to her with every different fight she gets in with help or no help. In the world of Amy Brooks, Faithian men and women have the strength of one-hundred men but only women could use magic, and fewer could summon Titan the earth giant.

Aimee Shimar grew up in Santa Ana, California till settling down in Riverside California with her family in 2001. Now she still lives in Riverside with her father, two sisters and brother by her old middle school and elementary school.
