About the Book

There once lived a lady named Lucy. Lucy loved the outdoors and when she was 19 she decided to move to a pretty, small, cabin in the middle of the forest. She had a pet armadillo named Sunny.

About the Author

Rachel Michelle Gaston was born on October 22, 1991 in Chicago Heights ,Illinois. She was raised in Chicago by her grandmother Dr. Blancne P. Gaston, a retired CPS school teacher. Rachel started writing children's books early in life from ages 3 to 5 years old. By the time she was 6 years old she was featured on channel 7 news' segment, "Someone You Should Know", by Harry Porterfield. She has written dozens of books. Rachel got her inspiration from her grandmother who also wrote a series of children's books entitled, "I Like Me". These ?ooks promoted the xoncept of self esteem in young children. Rachel continued to flourish and pursue her talents in school by participating in fine arts, such as writing, drawing,dance, singing, and playing musical instruments. she has also done some acting and modeling. She now attends college.
