About the Book

What do we really know about our military except what we read in magazines, the internet, or see on television? Do we even want to know or are we apathetic enough not to care? This is one man's journey through the military including the good, the bad and somewhere in-between. To some Americans it will be a surprising peek at the machinations behind the scenes. Still to some, it will make them mad to read about American "mistakes". To others it will not matter at all, but written up to "collateral damage" in a government that has gotten so big that costly mistakes are bound to be made. About the Author

After many years of service in the US military, Captain Day now lives with his wife in Birmingham, Alabama. He has been every type of rank in two military services and enjoys writing about his experiences. Now, he spends time with his family; two boys, a girl and a granddaughter. He is also an avid ancient coin collector and history buff. This is his first book.
