Through the whimsical adventures in a puppy's mind: children learn what really matter in life; while parents enjoy a harmless escape from everday pressures, disappointments and hurts. A healing process begins in their hearts as they realize that humans can treasure the same simple pleasures that keep our pets content. Everyday the media captures an increase in frequency and severity of alarming events, and the corresponding pain suffered by humanity. No one is immune. So much healing, recovery and change is needed, yet many folks look past the source of that healing. Seemingly never content with what we have, we fail to store up the simple things that matter the most. As a result, there is little to lean on at our times of loss. We can learn a valuable lesson from our pets. In their simplicity our pets easily recognize the source and ingredients of healing, that humans often fail to find until it is too late.
