About the Book

“That Was Then This Is Now”; is a book that is basically about my trials and tribulations through mid-high school, teen years; and all the way up to now; as a young adult. It describes my life situation in general. This book deals with depression, darkness, spirituality, love, drama, hope and encouragement. I pray that it will uplift peoples lives and give them the perseverance that they need to cope with any personal issues in their life. I want it to aspire or inspire people like me and in general. I just want to make a difference in someone’s life. I want to cause a reaction in other lives; like the movie “Pay it forward”.

About the Author

Those of you who don’t know me my name is Branford Lewis Moton. I was born on Tuesday May 30, 1989 in St. Luke’s hospital. I reside in Cleveland, OH. My parents are Anthony L. Milner and Brenda G. Moton they both played an important role in my life even now to becoming a successful young man and goal oriented. As a kid I knew I wanted to do something special with my gifts and talents. So I became creative in arts crafts between 11-12 years old. When I was 17, I started writing poetry and this is my story.
