About the Book

All my life I have noticed how fearful people seem to be about death. It seems that some tend to hang on to the smallest fragment of life in this human form for as long as they possibly can. In some circles death is talked about as an almost taboo thing. God gave me this book to hopefully renew people’s faith in him and the marvelous riches awaiting just on the other side where mere words can not describe the fullness of the life he has for his children, when one day they will absolutely see the Gold Beneath their Feet.

About the Author

Pat Gowdy holds no fancy degrees other than the one from the school of Hard Knocks. He says that after repeating the class many times he finished in the top ten. Pat lives in Amarillo, Texas with his beautiful wife, Tonda. Their son, Mike and his wife, Summer, and their daughter, Jeana and her husband, Dan, live there also and have blessed them with five All-American grandsons. Gowdy says that people ask him why he writes about Christian topics. He has thought about many other things but ends up with only one statement. What else is there to write about?
