About the Book

Malik and Maliki are twin brothers from another mother; but they have the same father. They were born two minutes apart on June 10, 1990 In Brooklyn NY, at Brook dale hospital. Malik came out first then Maliki’s mother had him. As growing up as twins they became encountered with enticements that led them to the seven deadly sins. Like: Pride, Greed, Lust, Wrath, Gluttony, Envy and Sloth. Their Lives became intertwined with reality. They tried to live a perfectly normal life; but as they found out Life is not perfect, or Normal. Malik is sleek, and debonair, Promiscuous. Maliki’s sexuality has him in the closet laid back. Even though they are born under the Gemini zodiac sign they are two separate peas in the pot. Malik graduated with his Master’s from Cornell University for Architecture. Maliki graduated with his Master’s from Lincoln Technical Institute for Electrical Engineer. Maliki is following his brother Malik in pursuing a Life long journey in building up communities for the Homeless, HIV population, Drug rehab abilities, and the mentally declined. Maliki has always been by his twin brother’s side on everything; but a turn of life style has Malik dead inside.

About the Author

I, Veronica B. Walker (Taileur) an African American Woman born in Harlem, NY. I was raised in Bronx, NY on Intervale Avenue. The family then moved to Brooklyn, NY on Vernon and Myrtle Avenue. We escaped a near death fire. As a young girl growing up in Brooklyn, NY in the Fort Greene projects, I had to defend myself on a daily basis from my peers, and the bullies, and from my Mother nearly killing me. I first want to Thank My God, for leading me through the Journey in my Life. I thank my readers for your support, you are an inspiration. I Thank my Family, Friends, and Enemies for Encouragement. I have Self Confidence to share my Creative side to the World. My Adventurous Spirit guides me towards my Aspiration. My goals may not have been feasible for my Journey; but I am impetuously to bring a view to the World of how you can be a Survivor.
