About the Book

Anatomy of a Rumor is about the journey that five characters take to self discovery. Amanda Nash is a young girl who finds love in a place she’s never imagined. Daniel Williams is a young soldier who fought in WWII and now protects Amanda as a favor to her grandfather or to him, his dearest friend. Winifred Darcy tries to cope with her parents’ divorce and with normal problems all teenagers face with. Jessica Nelson is a girl with powers to see the future, yet feels that burden weigh heavy on her as she tries to save as many lives as possible. However she will learn that not all people can be saved. Mia Rosenberg, the shy new girl in a new school is afraid of letting her friend know what she is, just yet. These characters all have something in common; they all converge at a place named: Alyssa Hill, Southern California. Anatomy of a Rumor is part one of a series of books that lead to one shocking conclusion. Everyone has secrets...even the dead.

About the Author

My name is Marc Hernandez. I am 25 years old and live in Southern California. I worked on Anatomy of a Rumor for six years now. I worked for a company called Kohl’s for three years now. I am now enrolled at Norco College and working towards my AA degree. I wanted to write as a hobby ever since my last year of high school. I am an AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego) and will always have a special place in my heart for them. The original title of this book was Sweet Misery than it changed to Anatomy of a Rumor after several revisions. I love history and love learning of the past. Anyway I am hoping one day to find true love, but for now a good friend who happens to be girl is fine with me. I wish to start a relationship slowly and then hopefully find out it was meant to be. I like playing video games and proud to say I played a lot of first person shooters. But anyway I hope at least one other person loves reading my books and gets inspired to write their own fiction and so on.
