About the Book

After escaping a childhood trauma of family violence with her mother and siblings, Gina has been able to build a life of strong family ties, great friendships, and a career that gives her a chance to help others who are fleeing violence, providing them with a safe haven where they can heal and rebuild their lives. Gina is still healing, too, from losing her husband and best friend to cancer three years earlier, and pours herself into work. When the husband of one of the women she’s trying to protect makes a threat on her life, Gina and her family are put under protection.
