About the Author
I am the widow of the wonderful man the story is about. I am trying to tell his story through my eyes, because I believe he had a story to tell. We were married for over 46 years, before god took him home to be with him. He lost his leg in a needless, lack of professionalism on the doctors part’s spent the wonderful years, being his best friend, wife and partner. Now I am a 66 year old widow, trying to pick up the pieces, and go on with my life, such as it is. I grew up in a small town in northeast Oklahoma. Was one of eight children. Raised in a Christian home, by my mother. I’ve worked hard all my life, mostly in the food industry, then private nursing, before being forced to retire, because of health problems in 2001. This story should be an inspiration to all who read it. God speed.
