About the Author

The author was born and raised in Madison County, Indiana. At a young age, Laws began to question many interpretations of the Bible during the chaotic and conflicting times of the 1960s, and began to further explore and compile Biblical interpretations of many denominations into adulthood. As an adult, after wearing out three King James Version Bibles from many years of personal study, meetings with ministers, and much prayer, Laws decided to attend Martin University of Indianapolis, Indiana. Laws graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and proceeded with a master's Degree in Urban Ministry. The intense required college courses introduced the author to the findings of the Qumran Cave and the books of the Apocrypha. All Bibles that Laws had owned since childhood did not include the books of the Apocrypha. Class discussions motivated the author to continue studies of these books after graduation. Laws enjoys teaching Sunday school, spending time with on, daughter, and grandchildren, and currently works in the field of education.
