About the Book

"Pinto Dan and The 12TH Street Bears is a fun story full of fantasies that show
the mindset of of young males and their thirst for adventure. Typically the membership
requirements are only that one has imagination and the willingness to follow your dreams even
when it makes no sense to anyone else but the dreamer.

It is similar to the question that is often raised, “why would anyone want to climb the highest
and most dangerous mountain in the world with all of its risks?” The 12TH Street Bears
answer would probably be, “It’s there, we dare and we are The Bears!”

Finally, youth general are not always guided by what makes sense and I am sure that somewhere in their lifetime think back and muttered to themselves, “What was I thinking of when I did that?” But in the very next instance think, “That was crazy but it was fun,” punctuated by a smile and shake of the head. Of course, we know that moment will never happen again but we are always free to dream."
