He becomes the pet of a girl named Janie, who spends most of her time training Rags. Mishaps occur due to the mischievous nature of Rags. Rags frightens Janie’s mother, wears an evening gown, puts on a show, and meets the mayor in this endearing story about the relationship between a pet and his owner.


About the Author

Betty Burton Biography Betty was born in Yonkers New York in 1928. She has lived in many States to include Ohio, Minnesota, Virginia, and Florida. She has experienced many ventures to include the design and sale of Teddy Bears and the design of medical puppets utilized to comfort ill children under treatment at John Hopkins University Hospital. She has been married sixty-five years, has three grown daughters, nine grand-children, and seven great-grand-children. She currently resides in Clermont Florida. While attending eighth grade in Long Island New York, she composed the story of Rags. A story about an unusual house pet that belonged to a little girl named Janie.
