About the Author

Earl Cooke is a pseudonym for the retired teacher out of Indianapolis, Indiana. He grew up in the midwest from which his education was based from. After three years of work at Carleton College in Northfield, MN, Earl completed his B.A. and later his M.A. back in Indianapolis at Butler University. An avid reader of the Grisham’s novels, Earl forged ahead into his hobby of “doddling” short stories. With no professional background in literature, Earl, nonetheless, was inspired to write this first novel amongst the mountains of the Teton range in Wyoming. “There’s something very dangerous, yet peaceful, very hard, but holy about the Teton range near Jackson Hole. One should always respect whenever you’re present.” Every year since 1990, Earl Cooke has visited this area and has pledged to one day have a home to live with the Tetons.
