About the Book
It all started when Michael McCormick was seduced one summer evening by his wife's older sister, Sharon. The wildly energetic evening spiraled into a sexually charged affair that stopped suddenly one morning when Michael received a phone call at his office. His wife, Diane, claimed that her sister told her everything about the affair.
Michael raced home frantically to explain ? to deny ? what had happened. When he arrived home, however, his wife was gone. At first he believed she had run off on him. But after a few evenings, he started to suspect something worse.
Over the next three months, Michael McCormick's life took an unexpected path of suspense and mystery. It became more evident to him that his wife did not just take off in a fit of anger but was kidnapped.
A Momentary Lapse of Reason brings the reader to the threshold of suspense with uncanny twists and turns. It has a quick reading, entrapping story line with a hauntingly poignant ending.
