About the Book
The Tao of Dr. Patel is a story of love, vengeance and self- discovery that takes place on the island of Okinawa. Dr. Patel´s school teaches a controversial doctrine of the dual nature of human emotions derived from ancient Indian and Taoist texts which anticipated modern theories of biological complexity.
Indira, one of Dr. Patel´s teachers, is loved by Capt. Rossetti, an American Marine who thinks he is a modern centurion bringing the Pax Americana to a lawless East and by a Japanese Zen Master who seeks revenge for the killing of his kinsman by Americans. A typhoon decides their fate.
About the Author
