About the Book

Martin Daniels lives in Southern California, works as a chemist and is head of his own department. Not bad for a member of the undead. Martin Daniels is a vampire. Not in the gothic sense, but rather the victim of a virus passed on to him from a bite. Through intellect and sheer will, Martin survived the mutation that drives mad most of those it doesn´t kill. It is that same intellect and will that has helped him survive for almost a century and a half. It also drives Martin in his pursuit of a formula that would enable those like himself to walk in the light of day. As he nears perfecting the formula, his lab falls victim to industrial espionage. In the process, his lab assistant, Julie Baxter, is kidnapped. Her assailant, Nelson Straun, is a vampire working for parties unknown who are interested in obtaining the formula Martin and Julie have been developing. A consortium of scientists and doctors afflicted with the virus, have been working in concert to find a cure for the virus or at least create a semblance of normalcy for those afflicted. One by one they are being eliminated and Martin is on the list. Hounded by Straun and the group of vampires under his control, as well as the police, who suspect him of drug trafficking, Martin and Julie are forced to run a gauntlet that could cost his secret if not their lives.

About the Author

Tim has enjoyed a varied life, working everything from a professional dancer to his present occupation as a fire fighter on one of the top departments in the country. Having been involved in some of this nation's worst disasters, coupled with extensive travel, has afforded Tim a look into some of the best and the worst that human nature has to offer. Born and raised in Oklahoma, Tim lives there with his wife and fellow fire fighter, Sandy, three children and a houseful of pets
