About the Author

Spanning more than 40 years, Judi Rose’s professional life comprised a wide range of endeavors. As an entrepreneur, Judi founded and/or managed a number of businesses, including a small-business consulting firm, a property timesharing magazine and exhibition company, and an adult education and social center. Following her return to school where she received an M.S. in Community Counseling from Barry University at age 53, Judi practiced briefly as a psychotherapist and trainer. About Abuse is the product of both Judi’s training and experience as a mental health professional and the circumstances her own life.
