Caine Campbell worked as editor of a Texas weekly newspaper, the Mountain Sun, served as a U.S. Navy intelligence officer in the Far East aboard the USS Lexington and ashore, and was a newsman for NBC News. On public television he hosted Jerry Brown’s Humanities, anchored Detente with Secretary of State Dean Rusk, and played “Tennessee” with Ralph Miller in the movie of Bret Harte’s Tennessee’s Partner. Campbell is a historian whose publications include a national award winning book. A Reminder of Stones is his first novel. Right now he stays at a place near the north Georgia mountains.
