About the Book
Robert Manning, upon graduating from high school, is offered a scholarship to study European History in London.
He left Lora, his lover, angry and, unknown to both of them, pregnant.
Lora married a neighbor farmer and let him think the child was his.
Robert, angry because she would not wait for him, was lured into homosexuality.
His father angrily disowned him.
With the help of friends, Robert was able to stay in school.
He later returned to America to teach and learned that Lora´s child was his.
Robert seeks to overcome his anger and be a part of his son´s life.
